I think using a good tasting cracker as well as the chocolate helps to mask the strong flavor that baked marijuana has. As a chef and smoker, I’m a firm believer that you should be able to enjoy the cookie as much as the high that will follow.
With that said, here’s how I make my Firecrackers; if there are any questions, please feel free to ask!
Ingredients:
- 1 gram of cannabis
- cracker of choice
- 2 tablespoons peanut butter
- 2 teaspoons of oil
- chocolate chips (whatever amount you want!)
Directions:
- Preheat Oven to 310°F.
- Grind the cannabis as finely as possible.
- Mix oil and peanut butter together.
- Once mixed, add the cannabis, mixing again.
- Take mixture and spread thinly and evenly onto one side of the crackers until the mix is completely gone.
- Having placed crackers onto baking sheet (spread-side up), cover sheet with foil.
- Bake for 23 minutes.
- Pull out of oven and uncover.
- Take chocolate chips and sprinkle them on half of the crackers.
- Let the chocolate chips sit for about 3 minutes.
- Use something to spread the chocolate chips (now melted) evenly over the crackers.
- Once done, sandwich the crackers together, let cool for a moment, then enjoy!
Notes:
The amount of weed you use can depend on how high you want to get. The gram is just a standard number I pulled from the original recipe.
Also, that’s the ratio for fresh bud– Obviously you’ll want to use more if it’s already vaped bud.
Any cracker will do but I usually use cinnamon or chocolate graham crackers. Yum!
Peanut butter can be substituted for any Nut-butter substance (like Nutella).
Speaking of which, search around for options, I found and used chocolate flavored peanut butter once!
The extra oil is to help better extract the THC.

This is a great recipe. I am going to save it. For anyone that wants to know. Adams 100% natural peanut butter is the best you can use.
Adam’s All Natural is not organic. You should actually use Organic Almond Butter it’s much healthier for you.
Just because it is organic doesn’t mean it is better for you and it certainly doesn’t mean it tastes better.
you’re right, however he did say almond butter. It is healthier, and equally delicious.
Also the Natural and Organic labels are both bs, Titanium is both 100% natural and organic. The regs are too loose on both. something organic only has to be roughly 75% organic to get the label. Also anything found in nature can be used as natural. This includes a lot of chemical preservative, but you will get sugar and corn syrup, not sucralose, and your beef won’t have ammonia processing.
Lick that toad!
“Peanut butter can be substituted for any Nut-butter substance.”
lol any nut-butter!Actually, since this recipe includes oil, you can use any kind of peanut butter to equal effect (the oil will take up most of the THC, and there is more of it that is not bound up in the organic/natural peanut butters so those can be used without added oil).
If you wanted, you could just put a few tablespoons of oil in a pan, warm it up, add bud and let sit for maybe 30 minutes or so, and soak it all up on a nice piece of bread (be sure to add some Italian spices).
Does this stank up a kitchen?
Not too badly.
How many grams of already vaped bud wuld you suggest?
The AVB will never be as potent as it was before being vaped but there are plenty of cannabinoids left in the AVB. We try to at least double the quantity when using fresh cannabis versus AVB.
use concentrates instead of cannabis for better flavor and texture. you also don’t need as much oil.
what type of oil do you use
Vegetable oil works fine.
didnt have bread or crackers so i used cornflakes cereal instead. I mixed weed and nutella and oil put tht on top of the cereal made a layer on the cereal on top of the nutella and then covered in tinfoil and put in oven, gunna see how it works out im excited t-15 minutes.

How do u do it using pop tarts?
Do you have to detoxicate the cannabis first to change the THCA into THC?
I used chocolate graham crackers. I shredded the chocolate chips onto the almond butter. I made the crackers into a sandwich, wrapped tightly in foil and then cooked them. It seems like putting them in the freezer over night makes them stronger the next day. I don’t know what the chemical reaction is. But with a teaspoon of weed on a graham cracker, 1/4 of a whole firecracker is a dose at our house. THESE ARE DELICIOUS! I keep mine in the freezer, wrapped in an airtight container. They last a few months like this.
I usually prefer to just smoke but I had my wisdom teeth out the other day and that’s strongly ill advised to do. So I took about .5 gram put in foil in oven for 15 min at 230F first to decarb, while that was going on I made chocolate chip pancakes and spread natural almond butter over the top 😋 (pancakes instead of crackers because they’re soft) Took the weed out of the oven and sprinkled evenly spread into the almond butter then baked again for 20 min at 300F. It brings a light weed aroma when you’re eating it but doesn’t taste bad in the slightest. Nomnomnom.
