Pot Tea Recipe

A simple recipe for pot tea along with an additional method for making weed wine.

You will need:

  • 1-2 grams of good hash
  • 1 fluid ounce of vodka
  • a pot of tea

Directions:

THC is not soluble in water, so while steeping your cannabis leaves to make tea will produce flavor, the tea will have no effect. However, should you have some hash oil honey, adding a teaspoon or so to the boiling water is an easy fix. If you don’t have any hash oil honey, try gently heating a single shot of vodka and stirring in the hash until it fully dissolves, then adding it to a pot of brewed tea.

If you prefer your tea sweet, try adding a bit of condensed milk, as this will also act to absorb the THC.

The same vodka trick can also be used to infuse your favorite bottle of wine. Simply uncork the bottle, remove a shots worth of wine, replacing it with the still-warm vodka mixture, and then re-cork. Shake the bottle carefully to combine the two liquids and set aside for an off-day. We’d suggest labeling it.

Does it smell when you mix it with the vodka?

I read of a recipe that I use for cannabis tea. For every 1/2 gram of pot mix with 1/2 teaspoon of butter. Add to one and a half cups of boiling water. Turn heat down to a simmer, add 1 teabag (if you really want tea) cover and steep for 45 minutes, The butter is a fat which will bind to the leaves and will then transfer the THC into the water (tea). After I mic the butter and pot I have found that putting it into a spice bag before putting it into the water helps keep the water free of the leaf. The tea at the end product has the butter in it but it doesn”t affect the taste of the tea. I make a batch of tea that last a week and store it in the refridgerator and then pour a cup and then microwave it for 2 minutes. Add sugar or honey not necessarily canna honey and viola, a nice cup of tea. The best part is is that you can use the pot after making the tea. I put it in come Everclear alcohol, 190 proof, and the CBD’s left over get drawn into the alcohol. You can then use it to put into your drinks throughout the day, a drop at a time
