Cannabis Milk Recipe

Many recipes include milk as one of the main ingredients and because milk contains fat, it can be infused with THC just like butter, olive oil, and many other ingredients. Below is the process for making CannaMilk, or cannabis infused milk, to be used instead of or in conjunction with your Cannabutter.

Ingredients:

1 cup/250ml Whole Milk or Cream
1/8oz or 3.5g of finely ground cannabis (the finer the grind, the better this will work)

Instructions:

  1. Add the milk to a pan or a double boiler over medium heat until it is gently simmering.
  2. Lower heat and stir cannabis in. Allow the mixture to continue simmering for about an hour.
  3. Allow to cool and then strain with cheesecloth or a fine mesh strainer.
  4. Pour into an airtight container in the refrigerator until needed. Use before the sell by date on the milk used.

Once it has been chilled, CannaMilk can be drank straight as a refreshing drink.  This particular recipe, however, can be rather potent depending on the quality of cannabis used.  If you intend to drink it straight, we recommend decreasing the amount of cannabis or increasing the amount of milk used in the recipe.

    how potent is the smell? i live with my aunt, so its hard to sneak out to my car and smoke sometimes. if i were to make this in my kitchen would she smell it?

      Oh, NO! Do not try this at home if your aunt is there. Simmering pot is VERY fragrant, kind of like a skunk wandering around nearby. She would definitely smell it.

      I have made this recipe with some of the best herbs mother earth has to offer. If you use the double boiler method and low heat the smell is minimal. Although turning the exhaust hood on wouldn’t hurt.

      This comment is a year old but thought I should write this anyway. If you want to make cannamilk without any odor, try this method.

      1. Boil milk.(make sure it has high fat content. You can put some cream or butter)
      2. Put the boiling milk in a thermo with your weed.
      3. Shake it a bit and let it sit for however long you want. 30 min can be sufficient.

    Use the milk to make ice cream. The thc in the milk bonds to the double cream making the stone last into the next day. I do this with my worn out Volcano bags. My iScream Cornetto’s are legendary. Canna milk even int cone recipe (and a bit of cannabutter for extra measure).

    Hello I am using BHO, I wanted to know If I should Decarboxylate my wax before incorporating it into the cream. I am also using double boiler for reference. This is going to be used in a non-cook ice cream recipe.
